2.   How to Hide Photos in Notes App

Apple also includes the Notes app, and one of its distinct features is the ability to lock individual notes. This means you can add media to your note and then add a password. You can also require Face or Touch ID to unlock password-protected notes.

Also, if you lock a photo or video in a note, it is removable from your main photo library.

2.1     First Send your photo or video to Notes.

1. Find the image or video you want to hide in your note. (You can select multiple files as well.

2.2    Then follow the steps below to lock the created note.

1.   Open the Notes app and find the note you created (it should be at the top of the list).

2.   Swipe left on the note title to reveal a lock icon.

3.   Lock the note by tapping the lock icon. If you've never locked your notes before, you'll be prompted to create a password and enable Face or Touch ID. This password will be used for all locked notes, so make sure you remember it or save it in your password manager.

4.   From now on, to lock or unlock a note, tap it and authorize access using your password, facial recognition, or fingerprint.

Note 3: This method too has limitations. For example, you can't share a photo attachment for an existing locked note, even if you manually unlocked it beforehand. This makes it difficult to use one note for all hidden content.

However, you can create folders (such as "private" or "hidden") within the Notes app and place your private notes there. While not ideal, this method provides more security than Apple's insecure "hidden" albums.

Note 4: If you are using this method, don't forget to go back to your photo or video library and delete all the photos that you have hidden in the note.

3.   Using secure notes with any Password Manager

Some applications, such as password managers, are designed with security in mind. Makes it easy to use unique credentials on the web by remembering a single master password. Most password managers also store more than passwords.

This includes, but is not limited to, banking information, scanned copies of important documents, birth certificates, and even photos and videos. This method is similar to storing private media in Notes, except using a third party app or service.

Any password manager that lets you add attachments to your notes should do the job. However, that storage may vary depending on the video content, depending on the amount of space required. As for the password manager to use, use may use these Apps such as but not limited to these only Dashlane, LastPass, Bitwarden or 1Password, or use whatever you like.

Note 5: Be aware that many password managers sync over the web, so hidden content is uploaded to the internet. Of course, it's protected with a master password. A master password is more secure than syncing with iCloud Photos or other online photo services.

4. Using File Blocking Apps

You can also use a dedicated Files app for things you want to keep private, like hide photos on your iPhone. These apps are specially designed with your privacy in mind. It offers a simple password or password lock and an area where you can store your files. Open the app, unlock it with your password or passcode, and you can access all the media stored there. Simple!

Folder Lock, Private Photo Vault, Keepsafe, Secret Apps Photo Lock are just a few of the many file locking apps available on the AppStore. Choose what you trust. Make sure it has a decent rating and doesn't block many features behind in-app purchases.

Note 6: Again, even if you use this method, keep in mind that you'll still need to delete the media you want to hide from the Photos app's main library after saving it to the Files app.

5. Deleting from your phone

& Storing Elsewhere

Instead of locking your private photos and videos on your device, consider storing them elsewhere. They may be more secure on your home computer than your phone. Therefore, if you leave your mobile phone unattended, you will not be able to find it easily.

1.   The easiest way to do this is to move them off your device. If you have a Mac, you can do this wirelessly via AirDrop.

Find the photos you want to move, tap Share, select "AirDrop" and then select your Mac to start the transfer.

2.   You can also connect your iPhone or iPad to your Mac or Windows computer. Select "Trust" to authorize the device and import your pictures as you would with a digital camera.

MacOS Photos automatically prepares your media for import when you connect your iPhone.

If you have a Windows 10 computeruse the equivalent Photos app to do the same.

Older versions of Windows charge your iPhone as a simple removable drive, so importing your photos is easy.

Note 7: If you don't want to go through the trouble of importing manually, you can use Google Photos or Dropbox
